Good service but limited views
friendly staff spotlessly clean misleading description constant noise
The staff was very friendly. They were always ready to help (especially at breakfast time). The rooms were spacious, with everything I needed. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean .
The hotel description was somewhat misleading. My room overlooked containers (I didn't expect that). I could constantly hear the noise of approaching trucks.

container view infrequent shuttle
The hotel advertises a waterfront view, but I could see shipping containers. The noise at night made it difficult to sleep with the window open. There was no convenient walking path to the waterfront area. The shuttle service did not run frequently enough in the afternoons. The taxi service arranged by the hotel overcharged us. The driver asked for more money than quoted.

reasonable stay with a couple of drawbacks
good breakfast fresh menu friendly staff poor soundproofing missing pathway corridor conversation
the breakfast was good, with a decent variety of choices. i especially appreciated the fresh menu items. staff at the check-in desk were friendly. housekeeping was also very pleasant.
The room wasn't soundproofed well. I could hear conversations in the corridors. i also heard noises from neighboring rooms' showers. the location is near office buildings, but a direct pathway is missing.

location not ideal , service inconsistent
misleading location port noise
the breakfast was acceptable , offering enough options to start the day.
i found the location misleading , it is not as close to the waterfront as i expected. the walk took over 20 minutes and required navigating around the area , not a direct route. the noise from the port , especially early in the morning , disturbed my sleep , it was not relaxing at all.

a solid base for exploring
warm welcome convenient location complimentary taxi tasty option
the staff welcomed me warmly. i particularly appreciated ebraheim's attentiveness. the location near the city and waterfront was convenient. a complimentary water taxi made getting around easy. the hotel food impressed me, especially the breakfast buffet with its fresh, hot, and tasty options. i frequently dined at the hotel restaurant because of its high standard and reasonable prices.
i didn't realize the rooms with a water view overlooked containers, not the open ocean. i found it impossible to open the window because of the noise.

Excellent Hotel Experience!
extensive breakfast selection tasty menu options friendly service
The breakfast selection was extensive, especially the variety of fresh fruit. The menu offered tasty options, and I appreciated the friendly service from everyone. The team, from the baggage handlers to the general manager, was helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean.
The noise from the port operations was noticeable, making it difficult to keep the window open (especially at night).

commercial harbor view underwhelming room
I was pretty disappointed in the sea view. I booked a room advertised with a 'sea view,' but it faced a commercial harbor. It didn't look like the ocean i imagined. When I mentioned it, the staff laughed instead of helping. The room itself was smaller and less decorated than I expected. The furnishings seemed OLD and uninspired.
